XLI V1.16 archive
At a stage when I was in the thick of Xterminal development, I created
my own a version of Jim
Frost's
xloadimage (a command line driven image viewer for UNIX/X11 type
systems),
and released it as xli. It is some years since release V1.16, and
I have a mountain of contributions and patches for this version, but
other projects (like Argyll)
have taken precedence. For
what its worth, here is the last release I made of xli:

archive of the XLI 1.16 release.
Note that others have since modified xli to incorporate newer raster
formats, make feature additions, and fix bugs.
